European Registry of Quality Outcomes for Cataract and Refractive Surgery The EUREQUO project commenced in 2008. The online registry system was developed in the same year following an assessment of existing surgical outcome systems and the software requirements of the participating National Ophthalmic Societies. The EUREQUO online registry system is easy to use and takes approximately one and a half minutes to complete. If a user is not familiar wit ht with computers, it is possible to use paper forms, the details of which may be input to the registry at a later date.
Once you have signed up to participate in EUREQUO you will be issued with a personal password which will provide access to the system.
The information input into the system is not identifiable to the individual user and therefore remains anonymous. The users of the system can use the information in the registry anonymously to assess their performance over time and to compare their results with other users. In this way the system provides an excellent tool for auditing and benchmarking.
