EUREQUO facilita la recogida y el análisis de resultados quirúrgicos de catarata y cirugía refractiva con el objetivo de desarrollar pruebas de calidad basado en las directrices europeas.

La Sociedad Europea de Catarata y CirugĂ­a Refractiva (ESCRS) es el socio principal junto con el Consejo Nacional de Sociedades de OftalmologĂ­a de toda Europa.

EUREQUO cataract and refractive registry could boost ophthalmic outcomes research
Supported by a three-year grant from the EU, this year the ESCRS and 12 national ophthalmic societies began developing the European Registry of Quality Outcomes for Cataract & Refractive Surgery, or EUREQUO.

EUREQUO Quality Registry Set for 2010 Launch Across Europe
The online European registry of Quality Outcomes for Cataract and Refractive Surgery has successfully begun collecting data from centres in Scandinavia, the Netherlands and Spain.The pilot project is testing software user interfaces, integration with national registries and technical support systems to work out any remaining kinks in advance of EUREQUO's roll-out across Europe in 2010.
